Sermons
In the Presbyterian Church, the sermon is not only an important part of worship but also of Christian education in general. The sermon is not just a lecture on a religious topic but a study of one or more Biblical texts in an attempt to:
1. Understand the meaning of the text(s)
2. Invite the hearers to apply it to their lives.
Below is a set of links to recent sermons from our 11:00am worship:
- If you click on the sermon title, you will see a page with the scripture reading(s) associated with the sermon. You may read the passages or, if you wish, you may click “listen” and hear the scripture text read aloud.
- If you click on the book of the Bible listed beneath the sermon title, you will be directed to a list of all other archived sermons preached from that particular book.
- To listen to a sermon in mp3 format on your computer’s media player, click the gray arrow next to the speaker icon.
