Please join us for an intergenerational Sunday School study! We will be taking a break from our traditional Sunday school classes beginning June 30 and continuing through July 28. Pollye Pruit will lead a class for youth and adults in the fellowship hall. Joanna Stuckey-Steele will provide a separate lesson for the children’s classes. The lesson will begin at 9:45 a.m., and a continental breakfast will be provided.
A concert celebrating America’s birthday! Two performances: Sunday, June 30, at 4:00 p.m. and Monday, July 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Thursbyterian signup sheets are available in the Narthex and Fellowship Hall for volunteers who would like to help with this month’s Crisis Assistance Luncheon at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on June 20. A menu of cold salads has been suggested, with examples given on the signup sheets. For details, contact Bill Joyner at 336-467-2512, or any member of the Mission and Outreach Committee.

On Sunday, June 23, following worship the Elderberries will meet for a Summer Sunday Lunch at the Carousel. Please make plans to attend and enjoy this time of fellowship. Please let Richard Collier know if you will be attending.
Worship begins at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday morning and is followed by Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.
Holy Communion will be celebrated during worship on June 2, 2019.
Our Sunday school class is studying “What is the Bible?” by Rob Bell.
Please join us July 29-August 2 for our Bible Science themed VBS. Monday – Thursday will be regular VBS nights. We will begin each evening with dinner at 5:30. After we share a meal together the children will break into their groups for bible lessons, science experiments, and recreation. Each night will wrap up around 7:30. Friday evening will be our family fellowship night, where everyone is invited to come have a meal and see what the children have done through the week. We hope you can all join us for what promises to be a fun and exciting week.
